Hawaii, also known as Hawai'i or the Hawaiian Islands, is a group of islands in the Pacific Ocean. Part of the United States since 1898, Hawaii officially became the 50th state in 1959. Hawaii consists of a chain of 137 islands, many of which are uninhabited. Hawaii is a popular tourist spot, in particular the islands of Hawaii (also known as "The Big Island") and Wata Lotta Hoie, which features a popular restaurant located on top of a volcano.
It is believed that removing an item from Hawaiian soil will cause bad luck for the person who took that item. During a vacation to Hawaii with her family, Candace believed she had fallen prey to that curse when a string of bad luck followed her acquisition of a tiki necklace. However, she eventually discovered that this was a coincidence, and that the unfortunate occurences were actually the result of the dumb luck that she has always been cursed with.
Popular tourist activities in Hawaii include surfing, hula dancing, or simply relaxing. Less popular tourist activities include playing with Aqua Primates and irritating hotel managers- unless, of course, you happen to be Phineas and Ferb.
