The Talking Zebra (voiced by Jeff Bennett in USA and by Pedro Tena in Spain) exists as a figment of Candace's imagination. He always calls her "Kevin", and has appeared 3 times. He first appeared when she was under the "influence" of the orange moss. ("The Ballad of Badbeard") Candace states that he talks to her often during the second episode she meets him ("Phineas and Ferb Get Busted"). He made a third appearance as a cameo in "Wizard of Odd".
- In "The Ballad of Badbeard", the Zebra appeared when Candace was having hallucinations. However, she just thought she was seeing things, as it was the blue moss (not the orange) which was hallucinogenic. At the end of the episode, when she touched the blue moss, the Zebra appeared again, now sitting on the log her grandmother had just vacated. The zebra says "Oh, it get's much stranger, Kevin." While sitting in the rocking chair on the pier, drinking tea/coffee, and then again he says "Love the beard, Kevin." While on the log, wearing a beard.
- His second appearance, in "Phineas and Ferb Get Busted", takes place near the end of Candace's dream (which is actually Perry the Platypus's). When Candace sees the Zebra, she isn't surprised to see him because she "[sees] him all the time". How Perry knows that Candace regularly imagines a talking zebra that calls her "Kevin" is unknown. The zebra says "I'm just as confused as you are, Kevin." When he is controlling Baljeet, who is controlling Mom and Dad.
- In "Wizard of Odd", he is seen in the swirling vortex at the beginning of Candace's dream saying the same line in Ballad of Badbeard; "Oh, It gets much stranger, Kevin."
- It is unknown why the Talking Zebra calls Candace "Kevin".
